Israel holds a deep place in in my heart. I was born in Tel Aviv and raised in Jerusalem.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty of the land, the richness of the culture and the backdrop of Biblical history gave me a unique affinity with connecting the land to what I read in the Bible.
You would think that over time I would become over sensitized to that aha moment that most pilgrims feel when they first come to the holy land, seeing the scripture come to life.
For me it never got old. I still pinch myself now and then thanking God for the really 40 years I have spent here.
